When investigating why sometimes your company can seem like a revolving door, I always start at the beginning of that Employee’s Journey….I call it the “Teammates Journey”.
A checklist always comes into play here or you miss things like logins to software, introduction to the team, and company announcements that make them feel welcome. Onboarding ALWAYS should include “Orientation” the owner or manager reviewing the company policies and how you operate together as a team and what role they play in delivering products or services to your customers.
Set Goals and mini-reviews for the first 30, 60 and 90 days 6 months and annual. Good communication and feedback are key and especially in the first year. You can never over do it.
